Find My Android Phone IMEI or MEID

Follow

Last updated by Isabel M

Before you bring your Android phone over to Ting, you'll need to find your phone's ESN, IMEI or MEID. If you're having trouble activating your device, it's also a good idea to confirm this. The path to finding this information in Android devices can vary but the most common pathways are shown below.

IMEI on your GSM Device

Settings > About Phone > Status

Look for the IMEI.

MEID on your CDMA Device

Settings > About Phone > Status

Look for the MEID.

If you've got an LTE device, you'll also want to note the ICCID.

If you can't find the IMEI or MEID (DEC or HEX) in the settings of the phone and your battery is user-removable, it will be located under the battery in the back of the phone:

Hi Jatavian.  I'm not exactly sure what you mean.  If you could expand on your question about using the MEID to track, it would be helpful.
