Completing Activation for Your Huawei Envoy (GSM Only)

Follow these directions to complete activation for the Huawei Envoy.

This device does not support:

  • MMS messaging
  • Wi-Fi Calling

 

Resetting APN to Default

To reset APN settings, the phone must be factory reset:

  1. Press the top left Menu key
  2. Use arrow keys to navigate to the Settings icon and press the Home button to select
  3. Use the arrow keys to navigate left and right to the Connectivity tab
  4. Scroll down to Network Access Points and select
  5. Press Options
  6. Select Delete
  7. Press Yes
  8. Repeat this for all APNs

 

Completing Activation

  1. Press the top left Menu key
  2. Use arrow keys to navigate to the Settings icon and press the Home button to select
  3. Use the arrow keys to navigate left and right to the Connectivity tab
  4. Scroll down to Network Access Points and select
  5. Press Options
  6. Select Create
  7. Enter the following (press the Home button after keying in each entry):
    • Connection:  Ting
    • Access Point Names (ensure that the "w" is lower case):  wholesale
  8. Press Save

    I can't get this phone activated. Have tried all of this several times . What am I missing?

    I see that you have contacted our support team and Makeda gave you a hand! For anybody else viewing this thread, if the above steps don't get your device up and running, back sure to double check the ICCID of your SIM and that it matches what your Ting account displays online.
