I e-mailed Ting, but didn't get a response. I searched the forums, but didn't find the info I was looking for, so I'm creating a new post.
Basically, I just wanted to know if there was a porting fee. Also, if former Republic Wireless users have any general advice about migrating to Ting, I'd appreciate it. I'm not yet decided whether or not to make the switch. Thanks.

I didn't come from Republic, but I can say that I'm 99% sure that there's no porting fee (wasn't for me anyways). Make sure you sign up using someone's referral fee - that'll give you 25 dollars right away so your first month (or two!) could be free.
Mike is correct, there's no fee for porting in or out of our service.
Ting doesn't charge to port numbers in or out.

We've got a great community here.
Ben and Mike (Renny too) have got it covered. There is no porting fee (any direction).
Here's what you'll need to port from Republic Wireless to Ting.
