Ads when trying to access voice mail

I just got a phone call from a number I didn't recognize - so I just let it go to voicemail. There was a message left, but when I try to access my voicemail, I'm getting some type of interactive ad service trying to get me to switch to T-Mobile, sell me DirecTV, give me a 5-day vacation, and connect with local singles. No numerical input seems to be able to get rid of it (telling me I hit a number prompt when one wasn't expected), and I can't get to the voicemail that was left. In hoping I could find some end to this and actually get to my voicemail, I have now used up minutes that I wouldn't otherwise use (I use GV for all my calling).

  • He Geoffrey, just to be sure you are using the voicemail from the Google Voice app correct? If that is the case you would have to dial your Ting number from your Google Voice and that should take you to the message. If that doesn't work what I would suggest is giving our Customer Support a call at 1-855-846-4389 and one of our advisors will be able to do some troubleshooting to find out the cause of the issue.
