I'm repeatedly losing both Wi-Fi calling and VoLTE on my G5 Plus that I purchased from Ting. Every two days or so they both stop working. The only way I've found to get them to work again is to reboot the phone. Another two days pass and it stops working again.
When the problem happens, I confirm that Wi-Fi calling is still enabled on my account and that Wi-Fi calling is still enabled in Network Settings on the phone and set to Wi-Fi Preferred. Toggling Wi-Fi calling on and off on the phone doesn't help. The only fix is a reboot.
Because rebooting the phone fixes the problem I'm skeptical that the problem is on the Ting end. Nonetheless, I opened a support case with Ting. They also feel that the problem in on the device end.
I opened a support case with Motorola. They are recommending that I send the phone in for a warranty exchange. Before I do, I thought I'd reach out to the Ting community to see if any one else is having problems with flakey Wi-Fi calling and VoLTE on a G5+.
