Some other companies charge a flat rate of $25 or $30 to suspend an account. Ting does not have such a program.
This could be a good Customer Retention initiative.There are very many people, especially here in Florida, that return every year for a fixed period of time. Since you have no suspension program as such, when we return in the fall, will I sign up again with Ting, or will another company offer me a better deal for our account? If you had a suspension program with a flat fee for each account, then you would be guaranteed to keep me, and other people, as customers. Isn't it easier to retain good customers than to attract new customers?
