now we know why they are cheap

great service when it comes to answering the phone and that is where it stops. if you have ANY problems there is 0 and i mean ZERO tech support. the people on the phone will just guess down the list if that doesnt work wipe phone if that doesnt work we will send you a new sim card...lol  Sad there is no one there who actually can do troubleshooting. Such a let down with TING...72 hrs later and havent made any progress, tried to get manager was on hold over 30 min(TWICE) and hung up. will be cancelling tomorrow.

  • I've been a Ting customer for a couple of months and have had just the opposite experience with the company.  I'm not very tech-literate and I had many calls in for assistance when setting up service.  I found the tech support  to be outstanding. They knew their stuff and followed up the next day to make sure everything was working.  Ting has the best help and support system I've ever used.  If only other companies (Spectrum Charter is my nemesis) would learn from Ting.

  • Considering I've had excellent support with Ting (getting setup, transferring phone #, transferring data among other things) your criticisms/complaint holds little weight without details. What specifically is the issue you're not able to resolve. It may not be your carrier's issue to resolve.

  • I'm surprised you had that experience. I've used Ting for over two years, and their tech support has always been EXCELLENT. As others have mentioned, they always follow-up to make sure your problem has really been solved. I consider Ting the "Nordstrom" of cell providers, based on their top-notch customer service.
