Ting/Verizon coverage maps

Where I live only has Sprint and Verizon coverage.  No AT&T nor T-Mobile.

I've been told that resell partners for Verizon only get access to some of the Verizon towers.  Typically only where they have competition.  So if I switch to Verizon will I have coverage where I live?

Todays coverage reporting only allows a zip code and it say excellent coverage.  I know that isn't correct as I live here and there is no excellent coverage from any provider.

I don't want to switch to Verizon to only have my phones not work because Ting doesn't get access to the one tower in the area.

Anyway to verify my coverage?  Is there a map I can see?

  • Hi David,

Our coverage is the same as you would have it on the main network. We know other MVNOs have different agreements with the networks but for us, there's no noticeable difference and if there's a tower in the area you can use it.

We don't have any front-facing maps at the moment but if you would like more information before giving us a try I would suggest reaching out to our support team with your home address and we have a backend map that confirms coverage of our V1 network for you. Our support can be reached by phone, email, or online chat and are available from 8 am to 1 am ET weekdays and from 8 am to 11 pm ET on weekends.

I also want to make note that we are a no-contract provider so if you do switch to Ting Mobile and you don't like us for any reason you won't be stuck with us. You could try us out for a weekend or a week and if we're not for you that's totally okay with us because we want people to save on their phone bill while having the service to go with it.
