That's a cool idea. I'll definitely pass the suggestion along.
In the meantime, I thought I should also suggest the unofficial Ting usage app that one of our customers developed: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.ogd3.ting
You can also set usage alerts from within your Ting Dashboard if you're concerned about reaching certain limits.
Thanks Andrew! I noticed that when I set a current alert over a given threshold it notifies me multiple times. This can be an issue if I'm nearing the next billing tier. I'm proposing setting the default notification times to just "1" instead of several txt alerts for the same threshold. If the powers that be want to add an option to notify daily or weekly after a threshold is met I'm all for it although it seems to make the most sense to keep it at 1 by default.
