Who would like to see a Windows Phone Device?
Answered

If you would like to see a Windows Phone Device on Ting, show your support by adding a comment here. Why should Android get all the love?

  • I have a WP7.5 device now and I will only go to a carrier that offers WP in the future...

Not sure if Shelby works at Ting, but having users sign up to comment is a huge barrier and I almost didn't do it. I expect that there are a lot of WP users that won't take the time and answer this question.

  • Not for me but ... I'd like to see a greater list of supported devices ... how 'bout making some deal with a 3rd party seller of phones?

  • I personally have no interest in Windows anything, but as a reseller, the widest possible range of device options would increase the sell-ability of the service.

  • Would I get to reboot it every morning?

  • Hi folks,

Holding stock on phone devices is one of the most expensive things we do as a new phone company. We have to be careful to carry devices that customers will purchase. We've had a few people express interest in Windows Phone 7 devices, so we'll see how it goes.

  • I can see how that would be a bit of an investment.  If Ting allows users to bring their own phones to the service, then it would be nice if win phones would be supported at that time.

  • I'd love to see a Windows Phone device with Ting.  I'm currently using Windows Phone on another network -- I love it --  also converted a 2nd phone in our house from Android to WP7.5 as well.  It would be awesome to see one of the Nokia devices on Ting ...

  • A Windows phone option would work for me. A Samsung Focus of some type, for instance

  • Guys, as far as I know the only WP device Sprint uses is the HTC Arrive. That seems the most likely candidate and it's not a very lust-worthy device if you ask me.

  • I know that android is a solid OS but honestly I would love to get a GOOD Windows Phone on board. It might behoove Ting to wait until Windows Phone 8 is out. That will bring 4G LTE, and dual cores. Plus lets be honest Sprint is NOT pushing WP7 at all, the only phone they have the Arrive is just meh!

  • Thanks to everyone for a really great discussion on the subject. It's great to hear what everybody thinks on the subject. I have nothing new to offer other than to let you know that we're reading what you're saying. :D

  • I would LOVE to see a Windows Phone here! As a matter of fact, I check Ting.com once a week or so to see if you've added one... and as soon as you do, I'm a' switchin'. Windows Phones FTW! (and Ting FTW, if they add Windows Phones :P )

  • I moved my wife to Ting, but I will not move to Ting without a WP. I love my WP and find it so easy and fun to use, I just can't go to Android. The premium I pay at Verizon is worth it in this case.

  • I would jump from Verizon in a minute and add my spouse as well, if you get a good Windows phone like the Focus or Lumia(doesn't have ot be the 900 !)

  • Also have a Samsung Focus. I really wish Ting could get in on the Windows Phone 8 goodness when it comes out later this year.

  • I would seriously consider moving to Ting if they had a Windows Phone device available.  My contract is up with another company and I'm looking for a better deal!

  • I would switch all 9 of my phones to Ting if I could get WP7. Especially if there is a Nokia in the lineup.
