How are minutes counted when calling from one phone in my plan to another?

I have two phones on my plan, one for me and one for my wife.  If I make a (let's say) a 5 minute call to her, does it count as 5 minutes of use, or 10 (5 for each of us)?

    Based on previous discussions it's been confirmed that 10 minutes would be used in this case.
