  • Hey Jonathan,

Are you comfortable doing all the programming stuff yourself? Is it just the serial number you need, or do you need access to a fully provisioned device? I could have a member of the team see if we can help you out (we have a couple of Veros in our lab for testing).

  • Yes, I can program it myself.  I believe all I need is the ESN, IMSI and a valid MDN(phone number).  Data should provision itself.  the imsi is ussually provided to the customer upon request by sprint.  I had originally ordered a galaxy s ii but did not like spending that much.  I saw talk about changing the esn number and thought that was a great option.  Last night I sent an email to support to change the order to the optimus s but if I can get away with buying a vero that would be great

  • Jonathan - did you get this to work? I have a nexus s using the esn of my transform ultra, but have no data.

  • Jonathan - not sure if you've gotten anywhere yet - I set up a tutorial and am hoping we can pool our resources to get 3g working on the Nexus:  https://help.ting.com/entries/21256192-nexus-s-on-ting-almost-working

  • Sorry for the delay, I am still waiting on my ting phone (optimus s) to come in. Hopefully together we can get 3g working.  I did not expect 4g to work but for me at least it does not matter.
