Does Ting provide customer support on the weekends? I see the phone support is only answered M-F, but was hoping emails would be monitored. I am trying to start Ting service, but have not received response to my support requests.

  • Hi Robert, we do currently have support in on weekends, however, while we're working toward the goal of having full phone support on weekends too, we're not quite there yet.

    With that said, I can see that Janice has been in touch with you about this, and hopefully the two of you will be able to get this taken care of soon.

  • They need something very soon. I've been in NO SERVICE mode on my phone since ~2AM, Friday, Sept. 29th. Waiting until Monday is a problem since this is my business line and my safety line when I'm out driving.

  • Thank you,  Andrew! Once again Ting proves itself to be the BEST service out there! The phone now has service.

    Here's the back story for others: I allowed someone to "play" with my phone because he is going to get a Ting account this weekend and wanted to check out my LG Optimus. Somehow, unbeknownst to me,  "Airplane Mode" got checked in this little exchange. That is what caused the No Service to be shown on the screen. I just thought it was because my battery was really low and needed charging.

    Charging the phone and removing battery does not help this issue.

    Going into Settings>Wireless&Networks>Airplane Mode (be sure it's unchecked) does.  Problem solved!

  • I just bought a new phone for my Dad (it's father's day and all) and I'm trying to activate it for him but the Hands Free activation isn't working! Help!

  • It's working!  Thanks! The "self activate" must have ran 10-12 times (5 cycles each) with a termination at each ending telling me to take it to a Sprint Store.  But an post here, and it's working 10 minutes later!

    Ting offers weekend support! We are open from 12pm - 8pm EST for both call and email support.
