  • Hi Jason,

    I sent you those programming instructions you'd requested in a different thread.

    If that doesn't help fix it, please reply to my email and try something else.

  • I just ran across this thread trying to solve why my ting phone can't receive mms messages.  I get the message then it says it's expired and unable to download.

    When sending a photo it seems like it goes out ok but the person never receives it.

    Would I be experiencing the same issue?  Can I get a copy of how to resolve it.

    Thanks!

  • You'll get an email from me shortly Thomas.

    To anybody else, the reason we can't post the fix here for everyone is because you need to know your individual phone's MSL code to complete it. I'd suggest giving us a call or sending us a quick email if it's outside our phone hours so we can help you as quickly as possible with this if you have the same issue.

  • @Donovan

    When you have a service issue you should either call Ting support directly 1-855-846-4389 or file an official service request. https://help.ting.com/requests/new A post here may or may not be seen by a Ting rep.

  • We'd need your phone number to give you the exact fix. Please don't post your number here though. Just give us a call, or send us an email from the account your phone is set up with, and we'll send you the instructions.

  • Hey Eric!

    The direction to fix the MMS on your phone are below:

    # 3 2 8 2 # -> MMSC -> Edit -> <MSL> -> Set URL ->  http://mms.plspictures.com -> OK

    The MSL is found on your Device Setting's page of your account. It is on the left of the page under the image of the phone.

    I hope this helps! If not get in touch with our customer care.

  • I have reset the MMSC like you said above but it still doesn't work.  Can you please set up a help request for my daughter's Optimus S?  Thanks!

  • Hey Diane, You can try a carrier reset and see if that works.  Check your email as I'll reach out to you in a support request as this may be something we'll need to troubleshoot further with you.

  • Hi Russell.  The Picture Messaging feature wasn't enabled on your Ting account.  I've taken the liberty of activating that feature for you.  You can open a support request with us if you continue to have problems.
