Sending Pictures

When i try sending pics they show in the message as going through however the recipient never gets it.

  • Could be an issue on the recipient's side, but I'm going to send you an email to follow up on this to check your settings.

  • I am having the same trouble with my Samsung M370 phone. Neither of my sons receive messages when I attach a picture. Can you help??

  • Jack, I noticed that your account doesn't have MMS turned on. I've gone ahead and enabled it (you can toggle it under Your Devices in the Ting Dashboard), so hopefully that will solve the problem.

  • Thanks Andrew. But, I'm still not able to send pictures.  I tried again yesterday and no luck. Suggestions??

  • The help I just received from Ting solved the problem. They gave me instructions to reset the carrier and the MMS configuration. It works fine now. Thanks.

  • Kevin, you can find it in the "Picture Messaging Settings" section of the appropriate entry at: https://help.ting.com/entries/22352307-Completing-Your-Activation-

    When it asks for your MSL or lock code, you can get that by selecting your device from the list under Your Devices in the Ting Dashboard.

    I went ahead and enabled MMS messaging for your device for you. As long as you have data enabled on your device, you should be able to send pictures now! If you ever want to enable or disable features on your device, sign into you Ting account at Ting.com. Click on device settings, then click on the phone number you want to edit the features of. Then check or uncheck a feature to enable or disable it. If you make any changes on this page, make sure to hit the save button at the bottom. Contact our support team if you need any additional help.
