Blog Link Is Broken

You may already be aware of this but the link to the Ting Blog page appears to be broken.  It just hangs on "Connecting to static.gas.ting.com...".  All other pages and links on the main web page appear to be accessible.

  • Hey there DC, Everything looks to be OK over here. If you are still having trouble send us a note to let us know which browser you are using and we will look into it.

  • I am also having a problem accessing the Ting Blog page.  It has had a problem for the last couple days. I just checked at 11 am 9/20/14 and it is still broken.

  • Hi Dale - The link is working fine for us! If you continue having issues, I recommend trying a different browser. If you still have trouble, please drop us a line!

  • I just tried it again but this time I just let it sit, it took 4 minutes 21 seconds for the blog page to come up. I tried using both IE and Firefox. Last week there was no problem. I also tried another computer and it also has the same problem.

  • Hi Dale - We've tried various browsers and devices, in two different offices, and it's been loading quickly and clearly each time! If you're still having issues, submitting a Help Request is the best thing to do.

  • I filled out a help request but the problem is definitely not on my end.  I've tried 3 different browsers and multiple computers.  As Dale said, it's only been a problem for the last couple of days.  Before that, everything was fine.  I've never had this issue before.  If you guys are not having any problems in the Ting office, it means a DNS server somewhere between us is having issues.  Get your IT people on this one, your customers can't solve it and neither can your customer service reps.

  • After having some time to experiment this morning, I can confirm my experience is actually the same as Dale's.  The Blog page will eventually load but takes nearly 5 minutes to do so.  After that, clicking any link on the Blog page has the same results (extremely slow loading).  I also tried using two different browsers on my two Android devices to no avail.  Interestingly, the Ting Android app does load the Blog page just fine.  One of the recent Blog posts says improvements were recently made to the Blog page.  I suspect those improvements are involved in this issue.

  • FYI, The Blog page and subsequent linked pages all load just fine this morning.  Thanks.  Just curious, what caused the problem?

  • Thanks for the feedback, DC. I just got a message that our team might have fixed it this morning, and we were about to ask you to try to load the blog again.
