EVO LTE /sdcard

I made a booboo. I tried to install codefireX this morning and now my phone won't boot. Using TWRP, it looks like I wiped all the ROMs from my phone and it is unable to mount /sdcard. Any ideas as to how I can fix this?

Sincerest Thanks,

Jessica

  • It could be that TWRP is mounting the SD card in a different location than your ROM did. For instance, TWRP on my GS3 mounts the SD card as /external_sd, but my TouchWiz ROM mounts it as /storage/extSdCard/. Check to see if your SD card is mounted as /external_sd.

If you can't find it there, connect your phone to a computer, and from the TWRP home screen, select Mount > Use internal storage > Mount USB Storage. That should allow you to copy a ROM to your phone's internal storage and install it.

  • Looks like it didn't take... I posted an update not too long after the first post, but there was a 404 error or something. I fixed it. Got the factory ROM back, reinstalled Titanium PRO and restored my apps+data, and everything looks like it's running fine. Thanks for the tip though, David. I'll explore that after I get some sleep. Looks like good coffee-time research. In that post that didn't post, I remarked, "Isn't that just the way it goes? I mess around with it all day and when I finally decide to seek some advice the dern thing starts working..." LoL  Oh the... Irony? Anyway, thanks again, David. And thanks to everyone else who has given my question some thought.
