Warranty for those purchased devices

I was thinking about Investment and I was wow thats a lot of money to plop down on a new device at retail price to not have any warranty for lost, stolen, water damage etc. and then I remember I used a company years ago for my recording studio equipment and I checked there websites and noticed they do phones.   So the point of this post Is to let people that are on the edge or nervous about spending alot of money on there phone to visit  http://www.squaretrade.com and get low cost coverage for It.

  • Interesting, thanks for the link.  Their pricing may make sense for higher end phones but with $125 and $99 deductible it wouldn't seem to make sense for the midrange and lower. The $6.99 monthly plan might be cheaper, if you damage the phone before the 17th month.  They seem to have some good reviews.  A Ballistic cover is about $35.  Life is a gamble, how lucky do you feel?  :)

I would disagree with one point though. Ting isn't charging "retail price".  The price I have found on the Internet for unlocked/no contract phones are higher than what Ting charges.
