I've been trying to activate my phone, but when I get to the credit card portion, it keeps declining the cards. I've tried both of the only cards I have access too. Both cards are good, and I'm using the correct info for both, so I thought maybe it was an issue on Ting's end, or whatever payment processor they use. Anyone else having issues adding a card to their account or making payments? I did notice that the first few tries had one error message, and then all subsequent tries had a different error. The current error is "Credit Card was not approved. 4718895" and the first error was "PuRSE error: Your credit card was declined. tx_id: 4718435".
Note: I'm doing a BYOD activation, and I'm using a referral link http://phil.ting.com, if either of those make a difference. Both cards are Bluebird(AMEX).
