I recently activated two iPhone 5 phones in the central Wisconsin area. I live in a relatively small town, but travel to Madison often, which is a much larger city. I get excellent coverage and in many cases my phone shows that I have 3G and LTE, especially in the city. My current problem is: since I activated both of the phones NEITHER of them have been able to connect to data... at all. All the settings are correct and i have done soft resets and factory restore on both phones, yet still no data. Kenisha from Ting has been super helpful and says that the towers in almost all of Wisconsin are down right now most likely due to upgrading.
I'm posting this thread more to ask other Ting customers if they have experienced the same thing, or am I alone? I know Sprint has had previous trouble with iOS 7 and iPhone 5 phones and connection to data services. It has been over a week since activation and still no data coverage. I'm really hoping it isn't a phone problem. Anyone else out there with me on this?
