May have screwed up porting my number, can it still be recovered?

Hi everyone,

I'm a new customer to Ting and have kinda run into a serious issue. While I was making the move to Ting from Sprint, I didn't unlink my GV number from the Sprint integration. I would like my number, which wasn't originally a Sprint number but came from Verizon, to be ported back onto my Google Voice. From what I have read you need to remove it before you leave Sprint but I didn't do that... So now whenever I try to port my number to GV I get an error. Is there anything that can be done to fix this or is my number now stuck in limbo?
