  • At that price it's a good bet that it's a "go phone", so it's probably locked to att for 6 months of paid service. You're better off buying the t-mobile version.

  • AT&T phones need to be unlocked and may not have all the needed bands for best service. T-Mobile & T-Mobile Prepaid phones do not need to be unlocked to work with Ting GSM. You only need to add a Ting GSM SIM.

  • That is a 'go phone' and it would prove difficult to unlock. You should buy the phone instead from Walmart.

    pickup or free shipping - still a great price and the phone is superb. This is my current phone and, as long as you're not beholden to some particular apps that aren't in the Windows store, it is the best value right now and an excellent fit for Ting! You just want to make sure, after setting up the phone for Ting's network, that you change the IP from v6 to v4.
