Can I use XGody S200 on Ting
Answered

Its a great phone for the price. I use it in the UK and would like to use it here in the States also

I am looking at a dual sim XGODY S200 it works with

2G: GSM 850/900/1800/1900MHz
3G: WCDMA 850/2100MHz

I use google voice for my txt and voicemail so that is not features that I need from ting

I am disabled and drop my phone a lot. After losing about 2K in phone I decided to look for a phone that looks good, works good and is cheap.

  • Hey Bill!

The great thing about the GSM network on Ting is almost any unlocked device is compatible, given it has the correct corresponding frequencies.

Here is a chart that will show you what data speeds you will get with your device:

Based on the information you've given, it looks like your phone should be compatible on GSM, but I'd definitely recommend checking your IMEI at http://ting.com/byod !

  • The IMEI check says not compatible, but I have read things from people that have bought grey label phones like the Xgody to Ting and it worked. I know the phone works with AT&T (2G&3G); T-Mobile (2G)

2G network (GSM 850/900/1800/1900MHZ) and CDMA.

3G network: CDMA2000 (few in Japan,Korea, North America and China ). WCDMA (the most widely used 3G network in the world) , the frequency are 850/1700/1800/1900/2100MHz.

    4G: LTE-TDD, LTE-FDD, WiMAX and HSPA+

  • Based on the phones specs in your first post it should work with 2G Ting GSM, but it wont get 3G or 4G.
