With the media craze about unchecked governments spying on the entirety of the population, I am surprised that Ting does not offer an option to remove detailed billing from one's account.  

Modern phones keep detailed records of who is called/texted, and Ting does a fine job of allowing each customer to set account threshold warnings as they see fit (email when ###minutes/gigabites/text messages have been exceeded).

Save Ting resources, support basic human rights to privacy, allow customers to opt in for summary billing only.
