Short-Code Service on GSM

I relied on short-code text messages for bank balances, credit-card usage warnings, school closings, and other activities.

Ting does not have short-code capability through its GSM provider, T-Mobile. CDMA (Sprint) customers do not suffer this deficiency.

Please acquire short-code text messaging capability for your GSM customers.

    looks like back to t-Mobile for me    this is silly & stupid. Typical passing the buck

    Discouraging that this is an open issue for 7 months.  Just opened my own ticket with this.  "Checking with our partner network".
