Overcharging for SIM cards?

Seems like you're overcharging for SIM cards.

  • They are free from Lebara in Europe. Makes me wonder what they really cost?
  • There's no need to charge for shipping when they fit in a standard envelope.

  • Hi Ness,

With our SIM cards, we charge the bare minimum that we can. Since our services are run on a pay for what you use system we don't have a way to subsidize anything which is what a lot of other carriers do. There are ways to get our SIM cards without having to have one mailed to you. Some local Best Buys and Krogers carry our GSM SIM cards and Sprint SIMs can work with our CDMA network. There is also Amazon Prime which is free shipping and SIM cards can be purchased through them.

It would be great if we could not charge for our SIMs and send all them out for free but we are just not able to at the moment.

  • Interesting...they look so little and inexpensive :)  But what about the shipping?  Can you just use an envelope and a stamp?

  • They do look like not much but they cost something. Shipping we do offer USPS delivery. Our SIM cards are the only thing on our shop page that we can send that way because it was the cheapest option.
