I bought a SIM card with $30 credit. Where should I see this credit under my account?
All credits can be found in the Billing History section of your Ting My Account. If you signed up and the credit doesn't show please reach out to us and let us know. We can manually add the credit in the event that something went wrong during sign up.

We have SIM cards at select Best Buys that have a $30 credit attached to them when you activate a new account.
I just signed up for Ting today, transferring my wife and I from MetroPCS. We bought the two SIM cards from Bestbuy that costed $10 each and had a $30 credit for each card. However, only a $25 credit showed up after activating each SIM card with our phones. What happened to the other $35 in credits?
The Best Buy credits are added automatically 24 hours after activation, assuming the account is eligible; these $30 credits via the starter pack are for new accounts and one per account.
The $25 credit sounds like it another promo/referral code that has already applied, but you should still see one $30 credit for the Best Buy SIM activation. If you are still not seeing an additional $30 in credits (via Billing history in your Ting account) after 24 hours please do get in touch with support so they can confirm.
I bought the same card and was promised to get $30 credit in my account. But I didn't in the end - and I closed my account with frustration. This is terrible customer service.
First they said:
Hi Serdar, Thanks for getting in touch. I'm glad to hear you activated the new SIM. The $30 credit is applied automatically within 24 hrs of activation. You'll see it under Billing History on the Ting account.Let me know if you need further assistance.
After a month they said:
Hey Serdar, Thanks for getting in touch! It appears that the SIM card you have purchased from BestBuy entitled you to have $60 in service credit ($10 per month for 6 months). This is on your account, but it will not be shown on Ting.com. Let me know if you have any other questions. All the best!
Sorry to hear you closed your account -- we did see the credit on there. If you ever want to un-cancel and come back, I'm happy to see to your credit personally.
Well, you can always refund my $20!
