Trouble Porting to Ting from Spectrum?

Just wanted to say that contacting the FCC about Spectrum's (so far 3) refusals to port my number to Ting has really gotten some response from Spectrum! Spectrum outsources their port out services to Syniverse who refuses to deal with customers directly. Ting can contact Syniverse on your behalf, but if the account info Syniverse has is incorrect in any way, its virtually impossible for Ting to succeed in transferring your number for you. Spectrum says their hands are tied and all they can do is verify your account info, so the customer is stuck with Spectrum unless they want a new number. All 3 entities point the finger at each other as the problem, so the customer is stuck and frustrated. Meanwhile, in my instance the clock is ticking down to the end of my billing cycle with Spectrum. It all feels like a desperate ploy by spectrum to keep their customers. My number hasn't been ported yet, but I'm hearing some polite response to my plight. I'll give it 5 more days and then its on to the BBB. Hope this gives some insight to others having the same problem.
