Voicemail notifications but no voicemail

I periodically (a couple times a week maybe?) get a notification that I have a new voicemail but when I check my voicemail the system says I have no messages. Conversely, I have checked my voicemail and found messages I did *not* get notifications for, though that is much rarer. What is happening and how can I make it stop?

    It definitely sounds like something is up with your voicemail! There are a few things you can try on your end but we may also need to have you reach out to support so the network connection can be refreshed to troubleshoot and they can also even reset your voicemail.

    The first thing I would suggest is to make sure your OS/iOS is up to date by tapping Settings > General > Software Update and installing any pending updates.

    If you don't have an update or the voicemail seems to be acting the same we can perform a network reset by tapping Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings. This also resets Wi-Fi networks and passwords that you’ve used before so be sure to note any Wi-Fi passwords before you reset as you will need to reconnect. You would also need to spend a moment updating the Ting carrier settings once more as they would be erased by the network reset.

    If the issues are still there after these steps support can definitely help refresh that connection and if needed reset the voicemail to try and help so feel free to reach out!
