Cellular Antenna Leasing

Does Ting do cellular site lease work? I'm covered by Sprint CDMA 4G LTE but, am on the edge of dead spots in a residential area of southern Carroll County Maryland. Would rather not submit lease directly to Sprint.

  • Hi George,

As an MVNO we pay for access to Sprint's network and don't own any of the infrastructure/towers as we are simply reselling access at a wholesale rate. With that being the case we aren't in the market as far as cell tower leases go.

If our GSM coverage looks good in your area I'd be happy to help check if your devices/phone numbers can move over and help with that process.

  • I (should be) good with CDMA. GSM coverage is perfect in my area. Understand the Franklin R850 uses CDMA antenna. Nearest multi-corp tower is 10km away. Nearest Sprint/Nextel antenna is at a bank 5km away. I might submit too Sprint's site but, doubt I will get a response. There's a big valley gap near me and I'm on a hill with 60m from ground roof. Would make a good repeater site.

Major problem with Zendesk Guide is when you login and click discussion forum link it doesn't seem to recognize the keep-me-signed-in cookie so you have to sign in twice to get here. The return_to reference gets dropped if you login within the Guide section as well. It goes to dashboard instead. Looks like a mess in element inspection.

Using Lubuntu Linux with Firefox 67.0. Maybe just a local problem.
