Activation process stuck on "Device activation in progress"

Hi 

I am trying to activate an existing ting sim card with my new phone. The activation screen is stuck on "Device activation in progress".

  • I tried activating it again and I get the message 

     

    "Your activation is currently in progress.

    We'll send you an email that includes steps on how to finish your activation shortly."

    But no email comes and no activation occurs.

  • Hey Andrea, 

    On GSM, the only remaining steps are to put the SIM card into the new phone so it can connect to the towers with your phone number. We'll have a look at the process to make sure those emails are going out, but thankfully on GSM it's not much else you need to do. 

    If that doesn't work, let me know here and I'll have a colleague reach out via email to continue troubleshooting.

  • It is not GSM. It is a CDMA sim card.

  • I had a look at the account and for some resaon, the activation did not go through. I'll email you to help get that sorted so keep an eye out that will be arriving shortly.
