Switching phone numbers

I wanted to expire my current Ting phone number and port in a number from Virgin Mobile, I will be retiring that device. I just need the number brought over to Ting. I was trying to complete the transfer before my Virgin mobile billing cycle date unfortunately it is today. I submitted a request 5 days prior thinking that would be enough time. Can someone look into request #3924317 and provide an update PLEASE?

    Sorry for the delay in getting to your request! I'll reach out on that right away but I did want to mention for anyone else viewing this that it is possible to both expire a line from your account and start a port in.

    This would require a new SIM on the GSM side but on CDMA you can simply deactivate and port using the same phone and SIM.
