At the end of my first billing period, a charge was not automatically made to my debit card linked to my Ting account. However, a bill is listed in my online Ting account. Is it the case that payments are not charged to the card automatically, and that it is necessary for the customer to initiate a payment in his or her online Ting account?

  • Because we're postpaid, there's a period of roughly 2-5 days between the bill posting and us collecting it from your card on file. 

    That's covered in our Billing FAQ

    You should receive an email from us once we successfully charge the card on file. There's no need for you to initiate a payment.

    If for some reason the payment fails, we'll be in touch via email for your next steps, including making a one-time payment for the previous month's service.
