I can't say how many calls I don't get unless I receive a follow up voicemail or text. But I think it is most calls and it has gone on for years!? Only late last year was I certain of it. And since I've started a business, it is crucial to receive calls.
I've contacted Ting, they are unaware of any issue. It persisted and I've done everything from new sim cards on the sprint network, new phones, to factory resets on new phones. Ting told me I could switch to verizon network using my phone. They were wrong. So I bought an unlocked verizon phone on their advice, but THIS phone doesn't work on THEIR version of verizon? For all of this grief I get paltry $15 credit. I have been a customer for about 8 years. I've been paying full freight for a phone service that may have hurt my business and I keep getting bad advice!
Let it be known TING, this is a problem that exists. You have now heard about this issue. I have followed every bit of bad and useless advice without results. The next time someone complains, at least confess that it is a real issue.
I like the service Ting offered, I liked the philosophy of it. But I need actual reliable phone service first and foremost. Because of that, I have to pursue other carriers.
