Ting voicemail picks up before Google Voice

I rely on GV almost exclusively - it's the only number anyone has for me, except my wife. I don't know how long it's been happening, but when people call me and I can't answer for whatever reason, the Ting voicemail picks up the call, and I'm missing it completely. I just found out someone called to ask me for help over a month ago and I never got the voicemail (because I'm expecting it to show up in my GV app or email, but it went to Ting).

How do I prevent the Ting voicemail from picking up the call? Can I extend the delay on Ting, or shorten the delay on GV (prefer not to do that, but willing)? Any other solutions?
