Finding your IMEI

An IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity) or MEID (Mobile Equipment Identifier) is a unique number exclusive to your phone. It indicates your phone’s manufacturer, model, and the brands and frequencies it supports. This number will help us determine if your phone works on Ting.

Here’s how to find your phone's ID (IMEI) for both Apple and Android devices.

Apple

Try one of the following:

Go to Settings > General > About.
Your phone's IMEI is located about three-quarters of the way down.
Enter *#06# on your phone's dial pad.
If you purchased your phone recently, you may be able to find the IMEI on the back of the box.

Android

Try one of the following:

Go to Settings > About Phone. Your phone's IMEI should be one of the first things you see.
Enter *#06# on your phone's dial pad.
If you purchased your phone recently, you may be able to find the IMEI on the back of the box.
