Clearnetworx is a Western Colorado-based fiber internet provider. They have recently acquired the Ting fiber network in Montezuma and La Plata County, Colorado, and San Juan County, New Mexico. Account & Billing
Q: Will I need to set up a new account with Clearnetworx?
A: Yes, your account will be transferred to Clearnetworx, and they will reach out with instructions to set up your customer portal and payment preferences.
Q: Can I keep my current payment method (credit card or autopay) with Clearnetworx?
A: Your payment information is protected. Ting does not store your raw credit card or banking details. Instead, your information is securely stored by our payment processor in an encrypted format.
Secure transfer between processors. We are working directly with our payment processor and Clearnetworx’s payment processor to securely transfer your payment profile. This ensures your payment method will carry over to your new account without you needing to re-enter it.
No interruption to billing. Because of this secure handoff, your autopay and billing preferences will remain in place with Clearnetworx. You won’t need to take any action unless you’d like to update or change your payment method.
Q: What happens if I accidentally pay Ting after October 1, 2025?
A: If a payment is mistakenly made to Ting, it will be reconciled and forwarded to Clearnetworx, but this could delay posting to your account. We strongly recommend updating your payment to Clearnetworx starting October 1.
Q: Do I need to change my modem or router?
A: No changes are required at this time. You can continue using your existing equipment unless Clearnetworx reaches out with upgrade options.
Q: Will my email or login credentials change?
A: Internet service will continue unchanged. Additional communication will come from Clearnetworx around setting up your account with them.
Q: I have email or hosted web services in additional to my internet/phone, how will these be handled?
A: If you use Ting email services (such as myDurango or myCortez), those services are being continued and will continue to be owned and operated by Ting. Additional instructions around the handling of these services will come to you later in the year.
Q: Will there be installation visits as part of the transition?
A: No installation is required unless you are upgrading to a new package or technology. Clearnetworx may undertake some work to upgrade or install new equipment and will reach out to the customer directly if a visit is required as part of this work.
