1. Which credit cards are accepted for monthly billing and purchases?

We accept American Express, Discover, Mastercard and Visa.  Billing addresses may be in the United States (including APO, FPO and Puerto Rico) or Canada.  Amazon payments are also accepted.

2. Can I have purchases shipped to a Canadian address?

No, we ship only to United States addresses (at this time, not including APO/FPO or Puerto Rico).

3. If I use a Canadian card, in what currency will I be charged?

All cards will be charged in US Dollars.

4. What exchange rate will be used for Canadian cards?

If you do use a Canadian credit card, your bank will determine the exchange rate at the time your card is charged.  Please note that if you are then refunded any portion of the charge, the exchange rate may be different (higher or lower).

5. How am I taxed if I use a Canadian card?

If you wish to use a Canadian credit card for billing, you must have a United States address on file as well, for taxation purposes (and if applicable, to give you a phone number in your area).  You will be asked for this address when adding your card during a purchase, activation, or number transfer.

6. Does using a Canadian credit card mean I can get service in Canada?

We only offer service in the United States (we can only assign a U.S. number to your phone or SIM card). Using your Ting phone in Canada will incur roaming charges.

    Why aren't these questions answered? It seems a pretty simple request. How do I pay my bill through the app or a one time payment? This company is suppose to stand for something ? What is it? Not customer service because none of these questions are answered. I went from H2O with 30 a month unlimited call and text. To Ting were I expected to pay a bit more for better service and reliability. Nope neither, the only difference is I pay about 60 a month with Ting and have to be cautious with my calls and texts. And I can't make a payment easily besides setting up auto billing. Auto billing is not post paid if that is your only option. Do you self a favor don't switch to Ting unless you use your phone almost exclusively via wifi and need cell service only irregularly.

    Hey everyone,

    Your payments are processed automatically via the method of payment you added to your account when signing up for service, you do not need to do anything on your side of things.

    Three to four days after your bill has been prepared we debit your card on file.

    You can change the credit card associated with your Ting account by signing into Ting.com and clicking on "account settings". From there click on the pencil symbol on the "Billing" row and enter in your new card info. You also have the option to give us a call if you prefer updating your billing info that way.

    Renny M - or other staff - how 'bout putting a link on this page (or all over the help site) so folks like me who get stuck here can make our way easily to the account settings. As it is, I'm stuck with all sorts of FAQ articles on account settings but no way to get there from here. Very frustrating.

    You can send a cancellation request to help@ting.com from your Ting email, or you can call us at 855-846-4847.

    Hello! It tried to take the due amount out for the month yesteray. Sadly I didn't have enough. I do now, when will it go through again? Or do I need to contact someone?

    Hey Amanda,

    Give us a quick call at 855-TING-FTW and we can help you with that. Alternately, if you sign in to your dashboard, a black bar should appear on the top of the page prompting you to try your card again.

    Without having the card details in front of me, I can't expand on why your card wouldn't be accepted. I recommend sending an email to help@ting.com and we should be able to investigate for you.
