A directory listing shares your Ting Voice phone number with local publishers so it can appear in places such as:

We can’t guarantee your listing will be published.
Some publishers are phasing out printed directories or no longer request new listings.
Ting doesn’t control what gets published.
We can’t influence where or how your info appears or if it appears at all.
Want to be sure you’re listed?
You may need to reach out to the publisher directly. In some cases, setting up an account with them helps.
It’s optional.
If you’d rather keep your number private, that’s totally fine. You’re in control.

We'll ask for:
Phone listings are usually organized by area code (the first three digits of your number) or ZIP code. When you request a listing update, we pass your info along to the directory service.
From there, it’s in their hands. The directory service manages the database and publishes updates.
You have a few options when it comes to how your phone number is listed:
List in 411
Your number will be listed in directory assistance and published in the printed phone book.
List in 411 only
Your number will show up in directory assistance but won’t appear in the phone book.
Stay private
Your number won’t be listed anywhere–not with 411 or the phone book.
Address Preference
You can also choose whether or not to include your street address in any listing.
