Whether you're bringing Ting to your new home or moving into a Ting-ready place, we’ll make the transition simple so you can focus on the move and start making new memories.

Transfer Ting to your new address

Moving to a new home and want to bring your Ting internet service with you?
Awesome! We're happy to be along for the ride. 🚚

1. Confirm availability
  • Check if Ting is available at your new home.
2. Place your order
  • Create your Internet order for your new address.
  • Log into your existing Ting account if you want to keep it the same.
3. Schedule your installation
  • Complete your move by scheduling installation at your new home.
  • Pick the date and time that will work best for you.
4. Disconnect service
  • Contact us to schedule disconnecting service at your current home.
  • When it's time, we'll handle canceling your Ting Internet service at your old address on the date you set with us.

Your Ting service won’t automatically disconnect at your old address when you transfer it to a new one.

To schedule ahead or disconnect on moving day, contact us.

Sweet, you're already so close to blazing fast fiber. 🔥

1. Confirm availability
  • Confirm Ting Internet is available at your new home.
2. Place your order
  • Start your order at your new address.
  • Create your Ting Internet account.
  • Choose your router option: Whole Home Wi-Fi or Bring your own router.
3. Schedule your installation
  • Complete your move by scheduling installation at your new home.

Frequently asked questions

  • If your new home has Ting installed: Activation can often happen the same day you move if it was requested early.
  • If your new home does not have Ting Internet: Timing will depend on when you schedule your installation appointment.

No need to cancel early! You can schedule your disconnection in advance so service stays active through your move-out day.

Leave your Ting modem (ONT) in your current home.

If you're using an eero with Ting Whole Home Wi-Fi, you can send your eero back to us. We'll send new eeros to your new home.

If you own your router, bring it with you to your new home.

  • If Ting Internet has been installed: Usually no tech is needed. However, if the modem seems to be missing, Contact Us .
  • If Ting Internet has never been installed: An installer will need to come out.

Nope! There are no fees associated with transferring your Ting Internet service.
