Use the account security section of your Ting Internet account to change your password and enable two-step verification.
Your account may look slightly different from the images below depending on whether you log into your account through our ting.com or legacy.ting.com site, but you can find these settings in the same areas described below.
You can change your password from within your account settings at any time.
Log in to your account.
Navigate to the My Account dropdown in the top right of the screen and select Account settings.
Scroll to the Account Security section and select Change password.
Enter your current password along with the new password you want to switch to. Click Update to finish the change.
If you cannot recall your account password, you can also send a reset email to your account email and follow the instructions to recover or update the password.
We recommend enabling two-step verification (sometimes referred to as two-factor authentication or 2FA) on your account for an added level of security. Two-step verification lets you require a text message code or authenticator application prompt be completed to access your account.
Enable or disable two-step verification within your Account Settings under the Account security section.
Log in to your account.
Navigate to the My Account dropdown in the top right of the screen and select Account settings.
Scroll to the Account Security section and select Two-step verification.
Enter your password and click Continue.
Select one of the following options to verify your identity: None, Authenticator app, or SMS text message.
