Here’s how billing works at Ting, from payment methods to when your bill arrives and what’s on it.
How can I pay my Ting bill?
We keep it simple. Ting bills are monthly and automated. You can pay with a credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, or Discover), or set up ACH to pay straight from your bank account.
What is ACH?
ACH (Automated Clearing House) is a secure way to pay directly from your bank account—no credit card needed. You can set it up from the Billing section of your Ting account, just like adding a card.
When will my card be charged?
We bill upfront. Your card is charged automatically on your billing date, which is usually the day after your install.
What happens if a payment fails?
We’ll let you know right away by email. We’ll keep trying the payment over the next few days so you have time to update your card details if needed.
What if I have a credit on my account?
Credits will be automatically used for your monthly payment until they are depleted.
Is Ting prepaid or postpaid?
Ting Internet is prepaid and auto-pay. Your month of service starts on the day after installation, and your card is charged at the beginning of each billing cycle.
Can I update my payment method?
Yes! You can add or update payment methods anytime.
What happens if I miss a payment?
You'll receive an email notification to your account email if your payment does not go through.
When you receive these notifications, you won't immediately lose your subscription. We'll keep trying to take the payment over the next few days. You can get up to date on payments by updating your payment method.
Where can I find my bill?
Ting billing is fully online. Log in to your Ting account, then click Billing in the left-hand menu to:
Need a printable version?
Just click Email me a copy next to any bill. We'll send you a PDF you can save or print.
Will I get anything in the mail?
No paper bills here. It’s all digital. If you need something for your records, the PDF is ready whenever you are.
What fees or taxes will I see?
We only pass along government-required fees. Most states don’t tax internet, so your bill will likely show little or no tax–unless you’re also using Ting Mobile or you're in a specific area with local taxes.
