A nutritional label for an internet plan provides key information about the plan, such as prices, speeds, fees, and data allowances, similar to how a food nutritional label shows what’s in your food.
These labels help you understand exactly what you’re getting with each plan, making it easier to compare options and choose the best one for your needs, apples to apples, and plan to plan. You can view the Nutritional Label for your Ting Town at ting.com/nutrition-label
Ting Internet service is prepaid and auto-pay, meaning your card will be charged automatically at the beginning of your month of service. Your service month begins based on when your internet is activated.
Ting bills are exclusively online.
If your first service with Ting is Internet service, your billing date is set for the day after your installation.
If you already have Internet service and add another service such as Mobile, your new service will have the same billing date as the first service you set up.
Ting accepts card payments from Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover.
This transition to electronic payments is part of our effort to provide a more secure and efficient billing system. Electronic payments reduce the risk of lost or delayed payments, enhance security, and streamline the payment process for our customers.
Your payment method will be charged on your billing date (usually the same day of the month as the date your internet service was activated).
You'll receive an email notification if your payment does not go through. We'll send the email to the email address on your Ting account.
When you receive these notifications, you won't immediately lose your subscription. We'll keep trying to take the payment over the next few days. You can get up to date on payments by signing into your Ting account and adding or updating your payment method.
Each month's bill will show in your Billing history. If you have any credits, those will show up separately as well, and we'll use your credits before billing your card.

When you receive your bill, you'll get an itemized account of these fees and taxes—mouse over anything in that itemized list for an explanation of that tax or fee. We don't add any "recovery fees" or hide anything that isn't truly required in this charge.
Most states do not levy taxes on Internet services. You are unlikely to see any taxes on your bill (apart from a few cents on your installation) unless you also have mobile service with us.
Franchise fees are paid to local governments to compensate for the use of public rights-of-way and easements. With the Federal Cable Act, cable operators like Ting are able to collect the full amount of franchise fees from customers.
The franchise fee is 3% of the monthly internet service amount. Router rentals or additional services do not add to this fee.
The city of Alexandria also has levied a 0.7% transit tax on any equipment (i.e., eero) rentals. Your internet service should not have this tax.
