Service outages can be frustrating. At Ting, we want to minimize any outage impact on our customers. To get you back online as soon as possible, we need to identify the cause of the outage. Outages can caused by many factors including, but not limited to:
- Network disruptions: often caused by problems affecting the physical infrastructure, caused by things like natural disasters like storms or earthquakes, power outages, or damaged cables
- Maintenance: planned maintenance to the physical infrastructure or system upgrades may temporarily affect your service
- Technical issues: equipment or software malfunctions, server errors, or software bugs that affect internet service
Note on maintenance outages
Ting will communicate via email if planned maintenance is upcoming in your area.
How can I tell if there is a service outage in my area?
Go to tinginternetstatus.com. We monitor all Ting services 24 hours a day, seven days a week. In the event of a service disruption, we'll post information here to keep you informed of the current status.
Note
Current outage information will be displayed at the top of the webpage.
Navigate to your region to see if there are any reported outages. Green lines generally indicate no service downtime reported for the area, while red lines indicate there has been/is some downtime.
Each line represents one day. To see more details, you can hover over the day to see more information:
Clicking on a line will bring up more details about specific Ting towns within your region.

Payment failure
There are times when your payment may not go through. Usually, when this happens, it's because the card on file was compromised or expired -- we know it's not easy to remember every single company tied to each card! Thankfully, it's pretty easy to fix.
