Ting makes it easy to remove a single line from your account, whether you were testing the service or even using a temporary line.
Good to know
- Removing a line will stop billing for it, but charges will apply until the end of your current billing cycle.
- Removing a line fully cancels the associated number. If you think you’ll need the number again, consider Suspending Your Ting Number.
- Planning to move your number to another carrier? You can transfer your number to another carrier.
- If you accidentally deactivate your line, contact us as soon as possible, and we’ll help you reinstate it.
1. Log in to your Ting account.
2. Go to Device settings.
3. Select the number you want to remove.
4. Click the pencil icon next to the status.
5. From the drop-down menu, choose Deactivate this device.
6. Click Deactivate.
