Not sure if you’re using a Ting GSM SIM or a Ting V1 SIM? We’ve got you.
Here’s how to tell which network you’re on.
If you’re on the Ting V1 network
Example of V1 SIM packaging
Using an eSIM? That means you’re on Ting’s V1 network.
Log in to your Ting account and head to Device settings. If your number says V1 in the network column, that’s your network.
Check your SIM packaging—it’ll say Ting V1 SIM.
No packaging? Look at the SIM card itself. If the number starts with 8914, that’s V1.
You can also check your SIM card number in your Ting account. Go to Device settings > select your number > look for ICCID. If it starts with 8914, you’re on V1.
If you’re on the Ting GSM network
Example of X3 SIM packaging
Head to Device settings in your Ting account. If your number says GSM in the network column, you’re on the GSM network.
Check your SIM packaging—it’ll say Ting X3 SIM (that’s our GSM SIM).
No packaging? Peek at the SIM card. If it starts with 8901, it’s GSM.
Still not sure? In your Ting account, go to Device settings > select your number > find the ICCID. Starts with 8901? That’s GSM.
