Want your home number and personal number on the same phone? With Ting, you can! Activate dual SIMs using two eSIMs or a mix of a physical SIM (pSIM) and an eSIM—whatever works best for your device.

📌 Bringing your number to Ting? Have your current account number and porting PIN ready—we’ll need them during activation.

eSIM compatibility

Check that your phone supports eSIM

You'll need an eSIM if you're:

  • Activating your first line with Ting using eSIM.
  • Adding a second line as eSIM while your first is a pSIM.
On iPhone
  1. Open your iPhone Settings.
  2. Select Cellular.
  3. Tap Add eSIM.
On Android
Option 1:
  1. Open Settings.
  2. Go to Connections.
  3. Tap SIM Manager.
  4. Tap Add eSIM.
Option 2:
  1. Open Settings.
  2. Tap Network & Internet.
  3. Select SIMs.
  4. Tap + Add SIM.

Check for dual SIM support

Some phones only allow one eSIM to be active. If that’s the case, you can still use one eSIM and one pSIM.

On iPhone

Go to Settings > Cellular. If you see Add eSIM and another eSIM is already active, your phone supports dual eSIM.

On Android

Go to Settings > Network & Internet > SIMs. Look for the ability to add another eSIM profile.
