eSIM compatibility
Check that your phone supports eSIM
You'll need an eSIM if you're:
Activating your first line with Ting using eSIM.
Adding a second line as eSIM while your first is a pSIM.
On iPhone
Open your iPhone Settings.
Select Cellular.
Tap Add eSIM.
On Android
Option 1:
Open Settings.
Go to Connections.
Tap SIM Manager.
Tap Add eSIM.
Option 2:
Open Settings.
Tap Network & Internet.
Select SIMs.
Tap + Add SIM.
Check for dual SIM support
Some phones only allow one eSIM to be active. If that’s the case, you can still use one eSIM and one pSIM.
On iPhone
Go to Settings > Cellular. If you see Add eSIM and another eSIM is already active, your phone supports dual eSIM.
On Android
Go to Settings > Network & Internet > SIMs. Look for the ability to add another eSIM profile.
Activate your first SIM
If you’re already using Ting, skip ahead to add your second line.
